They say good things come in LITTLE packages!

Just thought I’d show you what’s sitting on my desk right now:)
These tiny cards that I got printed for Casey! She purchased the mini portraits which comes in pocket size. I think they’re so adorable and I’m always a sucker for miniature things.

This is how it looks like next to my standard family portraits. Cute right? I can’t wait to post these cards off to her!
To purchase your own mini art, just contact me or purchase them here.
I’ll also be listing some ACEO Little Mo cards to sell in my shop soon. Keep a look out for them!
Yaay! Little Mo and Friends is featured on the latest issue of Giftrap Magazine.

I love their latest issue because they focused on environmentally friendly businesses in Australia. As an eco-designer myself, I find it so inspiring to meet other designers who share my passion for helping the environment.
I think it’s good to see an emergence of new businesses that are becoming more eco-aware, and are creating lots of fantastic sustainable products. And it’s also good to see customers choosing to buy recycled products.
Let’s all spread some green art! xoxo

Casey wanted a custom portrait of her daughter, Alexia.
Like most girls, Alexia loves dancing and ballet. Her favourite colours are pink and purple. This is my version of Alexia, sitting on a field of violets. Do you like it?
I’m off to the printers now to print her out and will share photos in my next post:)
Hi again!
Apologies for my sporadic postings! I’ve been trying to juggle between drawing and work and the latter seems to take up more of my time. But I’m determined to draw more than ever! In fact on some days when I come home and I’m so tired from work and the long train ride, I just go straight to my desk and sketch. I find that it relaxes me.
Currently on my playlist is Buffalo Daughter. They are a Japanese rock band with some electro pop influence. Their music is probably not to everyone’s taste but if you’re feeling a little drained of energy…they might give you that extra pop!

I also just heard that my artwork is featured on head2head Magazine. You might remember this post awhile back.
I was trying to draw based on the department’s brief of ‘Wealth and Wellbeing’. The tree symbolises a communal green space; to play, rest, do some gardening etc. And I drew children as the characters (not just because it’s my style), but also because they are our voice for the future. I think the magazine cover came out pretty well!

This is my latest portrait illustration of Katie’s little boys, Matthew and Oliver who are 4 and 2. This portrait will be a Christmas gift for the boys grandparents and I’m so excited for them!

Katie sent me some photos of the boys and their countryside backyard. In one of the photos there is a soccer net that her father proudly built for the boys. There are also gum trees in the background and sometimes during the day, dairy cows roam about. After reading Katie’s story, I knew this portrait wouldn’t be complete without the soccer net and dairy cow.
I think the best part about my job, is that I get to recreate their world in my style:)
If you would like your own custom portrait as a Christmas gift, please get in touch with me! Or purchase them here.
I’m quite fond of Made On The Left even though it’s not as big as the other designer markets in town. I like that it’s small and cozy, and the quality of the products are just as high.

My neighbours on Sunday were the creative crew from Made Of Awesome.

And Niina with her newly launched shop, Eeva Margita. The name is a combination of Niina’s and her mother’s middle names. My brother in-law is wearing one of her bowtie pins!

I met Samantha Hughes, who is just as delightful as her art. How cute are those customised converse?

Helen from Modern Homewares is a very talented lady who sews just about anything! My favourite is her casserole carrier!

And this is the lovely Peta from Petrafanella who sells knitted accessories like cowls, brooches and scarves. If you’re cold in winter, you know where to find her:)
All in all a terrific day! Check out the rest of my photos on Little Mo and Friend’s Facebook page.
Some overdue photos from the Winter Made On The Left.
MOTL was held over two days during the weekend. It even had a special shoutout on 7PM Project!

Thanks to everyone who came by to say hi and bought Little Mo goodies. You are all so awesome! Stay tuned for more photos of the day!
P/S: I’m wearing one of Niina’s bow ribbons. Check out her new shop.

Just finished with my latest custom illustration. This is Keshi and Neko with their owners, Samara and Paul.
As you can see from my before and after pictures, I do most of my tweaking and ink details in the colouring stage.

From the photographs that Samara sent me of her pets and her husband, I figured she loved nature and was a bubbly and fun person at heart. So I drew the happy family out in the countryside, sitting by a water lily pond.
To see more of my custom illustrations, head over to Little Mo and Friend’s Facebook page. Book me in for custom portrait this Father’s Day! Best of all, I can make Mr Daddy look ten years younger! Hehe!
