You know in primary school if you were seen talking with a boy, all the kids will suddenly sing ‘Helena and Richard sitting under a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G…’
Well I decided to do my own kissing couple, two love birds, completely smitten by each other:) I really had fun colouring these gift tags and I couldn’t help giggling like a kid.

Enjoy using them for your christmas presents this holiday season! They come sealed in a pack here with matching Christmas wreaths and Christmas stockings. Oh joy!

On the topic about birds, I bought this cute owl brooch made by Lauren from Osier. Isn’t he sweet?

Hello! I am typing this from our new place, with our very fast internet. While sorting out the kitchen box, I came across this sushi maker set I bought in Japan.

So for tea time snack, I made some bite sized sushi. I only wish I had cute utensils to serve them with! Come over for tea, I’ll make some more!

Loving my weekend! Picked up my calendars from the printer and worked through the night tying each calendar up with christmas coloured ribbons.

They are now ready to be shipped to happy homes, in time for Christmas. 25 books left in my shop. You can get them here
Later we got a call from the real estate agent, that our application we submitted for a place has been approved. Hoorah! We’ll be moving closer to the city, and closer to the printers! And we’ll have a bigger work area to do all my drawings, cutting, gluing and dancing…hehe!
I expect the coming week to be hectic and crazy as we pack and move to our new place. Stay tuned for pictures of our adventures!

Yaahhh we’ve turned 1 year old!

Thank you everyone for supporting and buying my art! You are all so awesome…like seriously.
It’s because of you…
That I draw with motivation everyday.
I skip with joy to the post office.
I stay up late at night making envelopes and notebooks and getting paper cuts, but LOVING every moment of it.
It’s because of you that I proudly tell my parents that somewhere someplace someone is using a Little Mo product.
So thank you for your support and for all your kind words. I love you all!!
I’m doing a GIVEAWAY on our Little Mo Fan page. Post any picture of yourself using/writing/posing with a Little Mo product and I will send you a party treat! I have two party banners to give away: my garden friends set and my play time set.
Let’s party together!

I’ve been working on my 2010 Mo Calendars this weekend and they are finally finished! Tomorrow I will be bringing them to the printers to get them professionally printed. Here is a sneak peek of the inside pages. The calendar will feature all of my garden series and some new artworks.

I want to see my Mo calendars go to happy homes and be tucked inside Christmas stockings this year! So yaaah! ENJOY!

So I’ve got a new man in my life. He’s tall, dark and handsome. I haven’t decided on a name for him, care to suggest one? He’s a gift from Niina. She knows of my fascination with Golliwogs and so she lovingly sewed him up, with pants and all. Gotta love the trousers!
And because it’s Niina’s birthday (a belated one I’m afraid), I got my man to pose and sing for her. I did try to comb his hair neatly!
Happy Birthday sweetheart! I hope your prince charming is as dashing as mine!

Heya! Some pictures from Sunday Best! You can view more at Little Mo’s fan page!
It was a great day and I met so many wonderful sellers and new friends.

This is Tim from Four Wooden Corners. It was Father’s day but that didn’t stop Tim and his dad from joining Sunday Best! It was so cool to see another paper goods seller!

My friend Ali J who draws cool fashion illustrations!

I bought a cute vintage Golliwog card from my neighbour Christine. Her set up was so gorgeous, it put me to shame! I also bought a lovely bar of salt scrub from the talented Jacquie of empire of delight and some awesome art from the made of awesome gang. I now have a drawer full of great art prints! Thanks guys!

And here’s Little Mo’s stall, which is not little anymore because it’s been growing with new paper goods. I really need to work on getting better displays to organise my products! So for now, enjoy the colourful pictures!

Busy week!

I just finished a custom postcard illustration for Kirsten from Paper by Forget Me Not. Kirsten is a stationery maker like myself and she also uses recyclable materials. Which is cool for me…and you! Check out her stationery products, my favourite item is the tutti fruitti stationery set.
Kirsten wanted something fun to include in her packages. So I designed some postcards for her. She can fold these into note cards and write her thank you messages in them. You can see more pictures here.

I have drawn Kirsten sitting amongst the blue forget me nots with one of her pink journals. The image came straight to me at the drawing board because personally, I would love to sit under a tree surrounded by flowers! Kirsten has curly brown hair in real life and you can see her photo in her madeit interview. She’s really beautiful, and I just hope that my drawing shows it off!

Hello sorry for the lack of postings!
We did Sunday Best last weekend, and it was so fun. Expect to see some pictures soon! Thank you to everyone who came over with well wishes, and who went home with Little Mo goodies, you’re simply the best! If you didn’t make it to our stall, we’re doing another market at UPMARKET this coming Sunday. Here are the details:
Sunday, 13th September
10am -4pm, Perth Town Hall
Cnr Barrack St and Hay St, Perth

This is my first time doing Upmarket and I’ve heard alot of great things about this designer market so I’m really honoured to be included with the rest of the talented crew. Come check us out, and buy handmade!
After Upmarket, I will be taking a break to work on new artworks. I plan on producing art prints and some one off illustrations. I will also be occupied with house hunting and the wedding. My online presence may be a little quiet but I am here, reading your blogs and drawing and drawing. So thanks for keeping me sane. xxx

3 more days till Sunday Best and I have been packaging my stationery. Today I rounded my new postcards, made some labels and popped them into sleeves. These are my ‘Beautiful Day’ collection. They are available in my shop.

Later in the night I made more recycled paper bags for the market because they tend to run out quite fast. I managed to use up all my paper scraps so it feels good de-cluttering and recycling!

On another note, we have been looking for a place to move into before our wedding, which means after the markets I’ll be packing other stuff! The past 9 years I feel like I’ve been moving from one place to another.
Everything that I own resides in boxes that remain taped up. And every time I travel across the ocean or some place new, these boxes travel with me. I want to look forward to that moment when I don’t have to worry about lugging boxes around anymore!
