I think a rice cooker doesn’t have these settings and it may be hard for you to boil the soup continuously?

You can get a steamboat in chinatown at any oriental shop! Or maybe you can use a slow cooker too if it has settings to ‘boil’

The grey bowl comes out. Inside is like an electric plate that heats up the bowl of soup. So yes you dump food in and it cooks!
