I do something similar. I wrap each asparagus spear in a paper thin slice of prosciutto, starting diagonally so by the end of the slice the whole asparagus is wrapped up. Secure with a toothpick and bbq, grill, or you can even do them in a frying pan although it is more difficult with the toothpick. I frequently serve these to my guests, and I’ve started to suspect that is why they keep coming back! I originally ‘stole’ this idea from a Italian friend.

Yum! Thanks you for sharing! I’ve done that with beef strips, but never thought about bacon (would cook faster than beef strips, too!). Thank you for sharing
